We are dedicated to fighting for legal and insurance reforms that give average Texans the legal protections they need. We provide Texas families with a platform to become engaged in the political and legislative process through direct advocacy for real legal and insurance reforms. Our goal is to strengthen protections for children and seniors, lower insurance rates, provide safer workplaces and neighborhoods, and level the playing field for homeowners and small businesses.
Today, we submitted comments in support of the fair appraisal of automobile insurance property damage claims. Hard-working families need their vehicles repaired promptly and safely. Appraisal can be a way to determine the value of a property loss claim after a collision, but the process must be fair and not used for delay by insurers.

Today, we submitted comments opposing any changes to the current boundaries for our State Courts of Appeals to the Texas House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence. These changes are unnecessary, as the State Courts of Appeals serve their local communities well. We also oppose the creation of specialty courts for businesses because we believe in equal justice under the law.
