For 20 years, Texas Watch has fought for the rights of policyholders, consumers, and patients, advocating for public safety and full accountability through our courts as the Founders intended.
Today, we celebrate the life of one of the greatest figures in history, a man who led the movement to hold America to its promise. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. knew that America was as great as its people -- all of its people. He gave his life for this sacred cause. Our debt to him and his family is immeasurable.
The 86th Legislature gaveled in yesterday, with the most notable development being a change of leadership in the Texas House. We spoke with friends throughout the Texas Capitol - old and new - and wished them success in the intense months ahead.
Because of your support and the action you have taken, we reached over 1 million people this year, educating them about the fight for their rights.
Thank you to all of our supporters for everything you do.

Over the objections of coastal lawmakers, the TWIA Board voted today to raise residential and commercial property insurance rates by 10 percent.
